Children learn to play cooperatively at Kidsland

Parental involvementPARENT INVOLVEMENT

We have an open door policy that allows parents to volunteer their time. Talents and suggestions of parents enrich our program. When parents visit children, it allows parents to see how their children's individual developmental needs are met. We value any contribution you can make to our program:

  •  Volunteering on a class field trips
  •  Celebrating your child's birthday
  •  Contributing arts & crafts materials

The daycare program is posted on the bulletin board and is discussed with each parent at the time of registration. If there are any changes in the program, a notice will be posted on the bulletin board.

If You Have a Concern

Parental involvementOur teachers and the Centre Director are committed to giving the best care possible. However, concerns sometimes do arise. We strongly encourage you to speak with your Director. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your child's experience at Kidsland, please contact us directly:

Child Care Subsidy

The Child Care Subsidy Program helps qualifying-income Alberta families with child care costs. It applies to preschool-aged children who are attending licensed day care facilities. The program is operated by the Ministry of Children's Services and administered by your Child and Family Service Authority (CFSA).

To determine if you are eligible for a subsidy, see the Alberta Children's Services' website.
